Inspired by Tibet, by the Tartars, by the Hmong and by the ethnic winterwear of more colorful cultures John Galliano and Jean Paul Gaultier presented two shows in Paris this week that were ethnic-inspired, to say the least. We know designers always co-opt other cultures for the outfits of the bored wealthy. But do any of you guys feel like there’s something slimy about this?
