And while we’re on the subject of lookalikes here’s a quirky case of Photoshop crime. Remember the news about Katrina Kaif jumping into a rickshaw to escape being mobbed last week? Well, while the story is definitely true it turns out one publication just wasn’t satisfied with not having a picture to prove it.
So what did they do? They made one up!
Preethi my loyal follower posted a link as a comment on my blog which led me to finding Sharell Cook a fellow-blogger who writes the clever “dairy of the white Indian housewife” and her understandable angst at having been photo-shopped into Katrina Kaif for the purpose of this story by a Marathi publication.
(Psst! Sharell, I’ve also seen your picture here and remember thinking, why would Katrina have stopped to pose if she was plotting a speedy escape? I just figured it was footage from some film promotion for “Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani” or something… but little did I know!)
Anyhow, I hope you get some sort of compensation or at the very least a written apology (not just an “oops”), lemme know how it goes.
