Credit: Blog to Lose

As my way of giving back to the community, I sometimes like to look at sad, homeless kittens and think of how cute they are. But how much more literal is this? This Japanese penny-bank lets you re-enact that cycle of giving. The motorized kitten reaches up to the lid of its sad box and snatches up the penny you’ve left on its food plate. It’s The Spirit of Christmas! It’s the recession, re-enacted by animals. It’s soooooooo cute!
