What did I think was so hilarious about this new commercial, featuring Rain, that I’m showing it to all my friends? Well, it’s for a bakery. And last I checked, the newly chiseled Rain was on a diet of steamed greens and chicken breasts.

But it led me to wonder. Is there a more complex relationship between sugar-coated K-Pop and sweet treats? Recently, of course, the girls from KARA starred in the reality TV show “KARA’s Bakery,” in which they took out a real loan, hired a real interior decorator, and now own and manage a bakery:

Maybe Rain will buy a cake from them?

Anyway, we’re happy to see this all goes against the newly released stats on the shocking number of eating disorders in Korea… Let them eat cake!
