Drunk-dialing, sexting, inebriated tweets that embarrass you forever…we’ve all been there right? (Uh, right?)

Alcohol and technology were always a tricky mix at best, and now that social media are a part of our lives…well, let’s just say I’ve been known to scrub my facebook page pretty frantically despite my aching hangover on some mornings.
So how do we feel about this?!:
HOLY BAD IDEAS, BATMAN.
Twitter is creating its own brand of wine!:
Yep, that’s right: Twitter’s making and selling it’s own branded wines, with the help of S.F. DIY winery Crushpad. Proceeds will go to Room to Read, a nonprofit promoting literacy for children in challenged parts of the world, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Laos, Nepal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Zambia. Oh, great. It’s for a good cause. So you get to feel pretty righteous when you uncork that first bottle…and Twitter will be waiting quietly, conveniently at hand when you polish off your second bottle and feel that it’s only right to tell the world all about reading and literacy…and how your ex-boyfriend was so stupid he didn’t know where to find “Anderson” in a phonebook.
The new Twitter nonprofit is called Fledgling Wines (also Bottles for Books) and you should (if you’re old enough!) check it out. Just make sure you keep your hands away from anything even remotely resembling a keypad once your purchases arrive.
