Isn’t he yummy? This ladies and gentlemen (not in the know) is Imran Khan. He is the young and dishy nephew of Aamir Khan (who you must be familiar with I’m sure, or I don’t think we can be friends.) The movie that really put him on the map was “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na”, a feel good romantic comedy (aka chick flick or Bollywood’s favorite genre of film) where he plays just the most adorable Mr. Right for a girl who takes an awful long time to figure out that he is more (much more) than just her BFF (insert obligatory catch-her-before-she-leaves airport scene here.) Anyway, super film.
After that he moved to the dark side with an anti-hero type role (caused by childhood trauma) in the movie “Kidnap”, not his finest work but I still loved him. After that came “Luck” (which I have yet to see) and with “Delhi Belly” in post production as I type; clearly the boy’s got everything it takes to be a star (and for me he could do no wrong.)
So imagine my delight when a random Twitter conversation has led to him co-hosting my radio show with me next Wednesday?! For those out of earshot there will be a podcast and vlogs too on my YouTube channel. Meanwhile you can follow “us” on Twitter @1mrankhan & @MissMalini.

Psst! Just discovered he was also in “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander” as young Sanjaylal and “Qayamay Se Qayamat Tak” as young Raj. Both roles played by his superstar uncle Aamir! Oh and in Dus Ka Dum (the game show hosted by Salman Khan) he plays himself.

Plus he had the balls to participate with an all woman cast in an adaptation of the Vagina Monologues to support V Day women and men ending Violence “All Together” along with another Bollywood hottie Farhan Akhtar (Javed Akhtar’s son.) Don’t get too excited thought Imran has a fiancée(all the best ones do, don’t they?)
