IGGY!! It’s Kev Nish from the Far East Movement, Buzz Lightyear-ing in back from the future, radio-ing in from the House Of Blues. Interscope recording artists, LMFAO, just added us for a few dates on their crazy PARTY ROCK Tour in the So Cal area, and this was the first show on the tour for FM.
Los Angeles has blessed us huge with our single “Girls On The Dance Floor” getting added on main rotation on Power 106, 97.1 AMP Radio, and LAtino 96.3, which are 3 of the top major radio stations out here. The familiarity of the song has allowed us to hop on some amazing shows. It felt like we were just at the House Of Blues on Sunset not too long ago for the Epik High Map The Soul Tour, and just like that awesome tour, this one was sold out early:

Got to the venue early for soundcheck and linked up with the homies, HYPER CRUSH, who’ve got one of the craziest live shows around… and LMFAO was in the house getting their soundcheck done.
Other artists on the bill for this show were David Rush (who has that song “Shooting Star” and “Go Girl” with Pitbull), DJ Class (the song “I’m The ISH”), HYPER CRUSH, DJ Skeet Skeet, Chris Young, and Shwayze who had the show Buzzin’ on MTV. Since the tour is called “PARTY ROCK”… it pretty much has to be a next level party… that rocks… So LMFAO brought in a huge curtain of lights that is controlled by a computer. When you turn it on, it looks like a crazy digital light show with trippy images playing in the back, a perfect backdrop to get this party CRACKIN:
Finished soundcheck, and you know FM always be hungry!! (Our dream is to one day have our own cooking and traveling food review show on MTV called EATING FM, hahhaa!! but for now we’ll keep it online.) The House Of Blues is known for some of the best catering before a show. They work with so many artists they must know we like to eat goood before a show:
DELICIOUS. BBQ Chicken, Rice Pilaf, Pasta and Salad.. 3 fingers up!
Got back to our dressing room with a plate stacked high full of food and chowed dowwwn. Happen to be sharing the dressing room with Shwayze and Cisco Adler, which was pretty cool… I was thinkin “daym these 2 dudes looook hella familar.. ” then when I figured it out, I was thinkin “oh snaaap.. we’re sharing a dressing room wit Shwayze!” lol real cool dudes.
It’s getting close to showtime and it’s time for the FAR EAST MOVEMENT to transform into PARTY ANIMALS from the future…

The show was INSANE. One of the livest crowds we’ve ever seeen… and this tour will be a non stop party and unforgettable. When we dropped “Girls On The Dance Floor” the crowd screamed like crazy and everyone started jumpin with their hands in the aiiiiir… OFF THE HOOOOOOK… just got chills just typing that. Thank you LA, and as usual, the party dont stop till they call the cops, we gonna ROCK ROCK ROCK ROCK.

the homies HYPER CRUSH took it to the next level with a glow in the dark stage and rocked the house. Got a song with them called “F U H A T E R” coming soooon.
It’s about to be one insane party… uh…I mean tour! Looking forward to the adventure and thanks to LMFAO and Johnny n Moodswing 360 for having us.
Before I hope back in the time machine and Iggy-out, I have some crazy news I wanted to share with our MTV IGGY FAMILY: We have our first ever headlining show at the famous ROXY Theater in Hollywood, next Wednesday, July 1st, promoted by 97.1 AMP RADIO. Never thought in all our years we’d be the headlining act at the ROXY!! Shoot…I remember when Jay-z and Linkin Park did a co-headline show there!!
We really hope to see you and the family there and we are so blessed and greatful to have all of you reppin the FAR EAST MOVEMENT with 3 fingers up.
