It’s been a crazy journey, from San Francisco to Los Angeles to New York and ending in Seattle. I ended up getting a crazy fever of like 101 or 102 degrees and a cough in our first 2 days in New York, but the show at The Fillmore Theater was so crazy I sweated the fever out. The show was sold out and it was around 300 degrees inside with no air conditioning…I heard people were close to fainting from heat exhaustion and dehydration, but they had an awesome time? hahaha

CHECK OUT THIS CRAZY CLIP FROM THE SHOW.. NYC WAS ROCKIN:

After the show was the after party, but I was feeling way to under the weather so I called it a night early and headed back to the hotel. Funny how I hear the night I stay in everyone had a crazy time partying at Hiro Ballroom, then ate at the famous NYC hot dog spot called Grey’s Papaya, then ate some chicken and rice at a vendor cart…all the things we don’t get in Cali…thanks guys.

We woke up at 5:20am, to get to JFK by 6:30am for our flight to Seattle. With flights this early in the morning, the trick is to party all night without sleep, and when you’re almost ready to pass out, get on the plane and knock-the-f**k-Out. The only problem to that formula is when we’ve lasted until 2 hours before the plane leaves, decide to shut our eyes for 30 minutes before the cab arrives, and end up over sleeping.

The flight from NY to Seattle was probably the worst flight I’ve ever been on due to me being seated in the worst seat on the airplane. Ever wondered what the worst seat on the airplane is? Its the middle seat in front of the exit row on a 5 hour flight.

It’s the worst seat cuz 1. you cannot recline your seat infront of an exit row, and 2. you are in between 2 people, so you cannot lean on a wall or have breathing room. You are just stuck sitting as straight as an ‘L’ and on the 4th hour of the 5 hour flight you can feel your hands sweating from imagining what it would be like to recline, and your neck and back aching from the 90 degree angle and no sleep.

Arrived in sunny Seattle, Washington… wait, sunny Seattle?

For a city known for raining 320 days out of the year, I must say, it was a dayam beautiful day. No food on the flight so we were all starvin marvin, the hotel wouldn’t let us check in until 3pm, and it was 1pm… so we decided to find some good food. Our Seattle hosts took us to a spot called Boom Noodle, which looked like a trendy nuevo noodle spot from modern home and living. Kept an open mind, the menu had classic japanese food like fried rice, ramen, gyozas blah blah so ordered Kimchee ramen and ahi tacos with spicy sauce… I’ll give the spot a 7 out of 10.

It’s been over 3 or 4 years since our last visit to Sea-town, so it was super surprising when we and our FM Street Team saw this on a newsstand…

Just got really excited to be in Seattle

After checking into the hotel we had no time to chill or wash up since soundcheck was in 30 minutes. While waiting for our bus to take us to the theater, the homie Mithra from Epik High was curious about what it was like to travel in time, and wanted to take a glimpse into the future…

And DJ Virman shocked us all with his new moon boots. He got the BLACK NIKE AIR YEEZY’s. These are super RARE.

SOUNDCHECK WAS RUFF. Time was ticking away before the doors open and they still were barely setting the stage up. Then by the time us and Epik High got on stage to check the vocals, the mics and beat were low and unbalanced…and there was no time to fix the levels. Outside the theater the line was a few blocks long and people had been waiting since 11am, so there was no more time to check our mics or keyboards… WISH US LUCK! HAHAHA

This was the last show of the 4-city U.S. Tour…and it ended with a bang. Thru all the technical difficulties during the show, the crowd in Seattle was awesome and the show was crazy. At the very last song during Epik High’s performance, all the performers got on stage to jump around and spray water for the finale. It was definitely a heartwarming moment for all of us on the tour, and a crazy feeling that the tour is already over… it has definitely been an Epik Movement.

It’s been an amazing experience touring with such a talented and diverse group of artists. We all represent a different spectrum of hip hop but came together just for this tour, and the response was incredible. Every city was sold out and jumpin. Thank you to Epik High, Map The Soul, Verizon, CGN Live and Plan C for putting this crazy tour together and reppin the FAR EAST MOVEMENT.

Before we leave Seattle and head back to LA for 2 more club shows on our own, we must leave Seattle and the Map The Soul Tour on this note…
